Bridle Oaks Barn Editorial Photoshoot
What an incredible honor to be asked to provide on location hair and makeup services for a bridal show and BBQ tasting at Bridle Oaks Barn, in sunny Deland Florida!
Bridle Oaks Weddings and events is a rustic wedding paradise! The grounds have everything a rustic venue could hope to boast of! A beautiful new high vaulted ceiling barn that serves as the perfect reception hall complete with two sliding barn doors. An outside cocktail bar, cremony space with a beautiful platform complete with a rustic chandelier! A fire pit, BBQ nook, and stables complete with horse and donkey!
In addition to the magnificently beautiful grounds and features of Bridle Oaks Barn, Brides can get ready on the property in a beautiful modern rustic house!
We set up hair and makeup on property in the Bridal suite and got to work setting our model Molly's hair. Mollys hair is naturally red and all they way past her waist. We decided on a in intricate braided woven pattern, the things Pinterest Dreams are made out of!
The hair design was perfect for Molly's hair length and natural red color.
For makeup we went with Airbrush Makeup! Airbrush makeup is perfect for any Bride, especially any Bride getting married in Florida (Central Florida, Orlando, Walt Disney World, Daytona Beach, Cocoa Beach, Tampa, St. Augustine, St. Pete Beach).
Airbrush foundation is water proof and humidity resistant and lasts for over 12 hours. We did a fall/ winter color scheme for her eyes, cheeks and lips. We really wanted Molly to have an other worldly dreamy appearance.
For her eye makeup we used a MAC Cosmetics glitter pressed pigment in the center of the lid and contoured the inner and outer corner to create a "light box" effect to enlarge and widen Mollys eyes.
For her lips we customized a perfect color using two Anastasia Beverly Hills long wear liquid lipsticks, for a kiss proof smile!
To finish off the overall makeup look we used a soft cool toned pink blush.
To make everything even more amazing and wonderful Bridle Oaks had a Clydesdale horse named Boon from Moonlit Acre in Deland, come on property to give carriage rides and he was supporting role in our photo shoot!
